Five insurances and one gold can be paid by yourself, but individuals can only pay endowment insurance and medical insurance. Insurance and payment:

(2) Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employer and other flexible employees can participate in the basic old-age insurance, and individuals pay the basic old-age insurance premium.

(3) Measures for endowment insurance for civil servants and staff members managed by reference to the Civil Service Law shall be formulated by the State Council.

The content of five insurances and one gold

We often talk about five insurances and one gold, that is, social security, namely: old-age insurance, medical insurance, work injury insurance, unemployment insurance and maternity insurance, as well as housing provident fund.

Among them, pension insurance, medical insurance and unemployment insurance, as well as housing accumulation fund are paid by enterprises and individuals, while industrial injury insurance and maternity insurance are entirely borne by enterprises, and individuals do not need to pay.

It should be noted that "five risks" are legal, but "one gold" is not.

Five insurances are our most basic guarantee, and it is also the legal obligation of enterprises to insure employees, which does not depend on the intention or will of the parties. Even if employees say that they do not need to pay insurance, commercial insurance cannot replace social insurance.

At the same time, in the absence of social security or the new rural cooperative medical system, the cost of purchasing commercial insurance may also increase.

Article 2 The state establishes social insurance systems such as basic old-age insurance, basic medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance and maternity insurance, so as to guarantee citizens' right to receive material assistance from the state and society in accordance with the law in case of old age, illness, industrial injury, unemployment and maternity.

Article 4 Employers and individuals in People's Republic of China (PRC) shall pay social insurance premiums according to law, and have the right to inquire about payment records and personal rights and interests records, and ask social insurance agencies to provide social insurance consultation and other related services. Individuals enjoy social insurance benefits according to law and have the right to supervise the payment of their own units. Article 58 An employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.

The state establishes a national unified personal social security number, and the personal social security number is a citizen identity number.
