How to cancel the social security card?

Social security card cancellation process:

1. If the insured who participated in the comprehensive basic medical insurance terminated the social insurance relationship for various reasons and needed to go through the cancellation procedures of social security cards, they could go to the Municipal Social Security Bureau to handle the card withdrawal business with relevant information;

2. After verifying the information, the social security staff will print the Notice of Cancellation of Social Security Card, and the cardholder will go to the issuing bank with the Notice of Cancellation of Social Security Card and Social Security Card to go through the formalities of card withdrawal;

3. After the approval of the branch staff, the cardholder's medical account will be cancelled, and the remaining amount of the medical account plus accrued interest will be transferred to the cardholder's financial account after ten working days.

Information required to cancel social insurance:

1, the certification materials approved or announced by the relevant departments;

2 organization code certificate (original and copy);

3, fill in the "XX city social security fee cancellation registration application form" (in duplicate).
