All enterprises, institutions retirees and living allowances who receive pensions in social security should carry out survival certification of pension eligibility once a year. Generally it is a yearly certification. The local certification time is set independently by each province, city (region), and the survival certification time for foreign residence is from April 1 to June 25 each year (because the 25th to the end of each month is the time period for social security to increase or decrease the settlement time period, so the business after the 25th will be counted as the next month).

In order to facilitate the certification of retirees, some places have set the annual survival certification time for retirees as the month of the retiree's own birthday, which can be postponed for 1-2 months.
