What conditions do foreigners need to meet when buying a house in Tianjin?

Tianjin has implemented the policy of restricting purchases and loans since April of 1, 20 17, and defined the qualifications for purchasing houses as follows:

1. Tianjin (including Tianjin collective hukou) families can own two houses, and individuals can own one house.

2. Foreigners working in Tianjin need to provide social security or tax payment certificates for two consecutive years from the date of purchase, of which the social security payment shall not exceed three months. Families and individuals can own a house.

Meet one of the above conditions.

Restricted purchase areas: Hedong District, Hedong District, Hebei District, Heping District, Nankai District and Hongqiao District, including four districts around the city (Beichen District, Dongli District, Jinnan District and Xiqing District) and five districts in the outer suburbs (wuqing district, Baodi District, Jinghai District, Ninghe District and Jizhou District).

In addition, at present, Tianjin Binhai New Area does not limit the number of units that purchase houses if it has the qualification to purchase houses.
