There is no need to cancel the original resident social security card when handling the employee social security card. The social security card is handled as follows:

Residents need to bring digital photo receipts, ID cards and other materials to the social security agencies for handling, and receive business card receipts after successful handling.

1. The registered residents who apply for the card for the first time go to the networked photo studio of the second-generation ID card recognized by the municipal public security organ to take digital photos, and ask the photo studio for the receipt of the digital photos of the XX social security card, and at the same time fill in the name and ID number neatly on the receipt for convenience. 2. When going to the social security bureau's insurance window, you need to submit the original ID card, passbook or bank card, and digital photo receipt of social security card (this is not needed for those who have already applied for social security card), fill out the form in the social security agency's personal payment window, pay the fee, and get a business card to print the receipt.

3. Individuals can collect cards from the original business card printing acceptance window within the specified time with the business card printing receipt. Where a social security card is entrusted, a written power of attorney signed or sealed by the client, the client's resident identity card and the client's resident identity card or social security card shall be issued.
