During the period of temporary execution outside prison and parole after serving a sentence, retirees can continue to issue basic pensions according to the standards before serving their sentences, but they will not participate in the adjustment of basic pensions. If the parole is revoked and continues to serve the sentence, the basic pension will be suspended from the month of revocation; After the expiration of parole, if the original sentence has been declared to have been executed, the basic pension will continue to be paid according to the standard before sentencing and participate in the adjustment of the basic pension for the next year.

Persons who participate in the basic old-age insurance for enterprise employees are sentenced to more than criminal detention or reeducation through labor, and if they reach the legal retirement age during the period of serving their sentences or reeducation through labor, they will be suspended from going through retirement procedures until the expiration of their sentences or reeducation through labor.
