The initial password for a social security card is usually 123456, but after receiving a social security card, the insured person can go to the designated bank to activate the social security card and change the initial password; or change it on the official website of the social security bureau. An employer shall, within thirty days from the date of its establishment, apply to the local social insurance agency for social insurance registration on the basis of its business license, registration certificate, or seal.
