What are the requirements to migrate to Hong Kong?

Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS):

Applicants need to meet all of the following basic qualifications:

Good educational background (Bachelor's degree or above);

Applicants between the ages of 30 and 50;

More than five years' experience;

Possessing knowledge of what is lacking in Hong Kong and being able to provide the previous 18 months' personal tax and social security records for the past 18 months.

In addition, applicants need to fulfill any of the following scoring requirements:

A composite score of 80 points or above;

Outstanding strengths in terms of age, education, work experience, family background, language proficiency and professional qualifications.

Importation of Mainland Talents and Professionals Scheme:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Special skills, professional experience and achievements in the Mainland;

Employment by a Hong Kong employer;

Good educational background and work experience;

Compliance with the requirements of the HKSAR Government.

Hong Kong Immigrant Investor:

Applicants need to fulfill the following requirements:

At least 18 years old;

No criminal record before or after the application;

Continuously possessing a personal net worth of not less than HK$10 million (including bank deposits, real estate, company assets and stocks, etc.) for 2 years prior to the filing of the application;

Investment of HK$10 million or more in Hong Kong.
