How many days late is health insurance considered to be a break in payment

In China, different social insurance agencies in different regions may have different requirements for the grace period for paying medical insurance premiums. In some regions, if an enterprise or individual fails to pay medical insurance premiums on time, but is able to make up the payment within a certain period of time (e.g. 30 days).

This is not considered an interruption of participation, but if payment is not made beyond this period, it will be considered as an interruption of payment affecting the enjoyment of health insurance benefits, and a continuous interruption of payment of more than 3 months will be considered as an interruption of participation, and health insurance benefits will be suspended from the month following the month of non-payment.
