The online application process of social security card is as follows:

1. Log in to official website of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

2. Click "Social Security Card Online Service" in the "Public Service" list on the homepage "Online Service".

3. Click "Register" to register the account as needed.

4. Click to enter the "Personal Application for Social Security Card" interface, and select the issuing bank outlets. After the social security card is made, the applicant goes to the bank outlet to collect and activate the social security card.

5. The application system will display personal default photos, and the applicant can choose the photos displayed by the system to make social security cards. If the system does not display photos, or the applicant wants to use other photos, he can go to the photo studio to take photos of the social security card, and remember to fill in the social security card photo receipt number.

6. Fill in the personal basic information truthfully, and then upload the ID card photo and hold the ID card photo for real-name authentication.

7. Click "Confirm" to view the data. If approved, the personal data will be sent to the Provincial People's Social Welfare Department and the Provincial Bank for business card printing. Applicants can check the progress of social security card application through WeChat, Alipay or "Card Application Progress Query" in official website.

8. After seeing the business card printed, bring your ID card to the card issuing outlet to get the card and activate it.
