_ After graduating from high school, how can I renew my insurance?

After leaving high school, everyone's medical insurance is automatically cut off (domestic college students enjoy free medical care), so it is necessary for everyone to renew their insurance. The materials we need to prepare are:

◆ ID card, household registration book and copy.

You can go to the social security office where your household registration is located or where you live now. In the social security office, you need to fill in the statement that there is no basic medical insurance, which means that there is no effective medical insurance available at present.

After confirming the information, we need to pay the insurance premium. Our insurance will take effect within 3 months after all the formalities are completed and the information is reported. If you go to the hospital for medical treatment before the insurance takes effect, it is impossible to reimburse.

If the social security card is lost, you can submit the report of loss to the social security office.

_ Domestic epidemic, how does social security offset school insurance?

Whether your medical insurance is effective or not, you can use the social security card to offset the school's insurance.

In the statement of offset insurance, the materials to be submitted are copies of the front and back of the social security card. In addition, it may be necessary to inform the school not to study in the local school next semester. The specific requirements are subject to the school official.

For the medical insurance offset policy of most schools, domestic social security is effective.

If your school unfortunately rejects your application, you can also consider the medical insurance customized by many commercial insurance companies for this year's Zoom college students. The general price is around several hundred yuan, which is only valid in China. However, we don't know whether this kind of insurance can really be reimbursed as scheduled. I suggest that if you need this kind of insurance, continue to apply for domestic medical insurance after the offset.

_ Will the domestic social security association affect the settlement?

During studying abroad, will paying social security affect the settlement of international students in Shanghai?

First, if a company that has been in Shanghai pays social security, there are generally three situations according to the time of returning from studying abroad:

1. Those who have been paying fees while studying abroad and continue to pay fees in the same company after returning to China;

2. I have been paying during my studies, and I changed my company after returning to China;

3. Pay during the study period and stop paying before returning to China.

If the Shanghai company pays social security during studying abroad, the payment will be terminated before returning home. After returning home, the international students can apply for settlement after paying social security in their original/new units for 6 months.

At the time of application, the original social security unit should issue a corresponding explanation, explaining why the company paid social security for the international student during his study abroad, and reasonable explanation will not affect his application qualification.

Note: Those who have not obtained a foreign degree certificate when they return to China need to pay social security and individual tax for another 6 months from the date of issuance of the foreign degree certificate before they can apply.

2. If you pay social security in a different place, you want to apply to settle in Shanghai after returning home.

1. Social security was suspended before returning to China.

If the overseas students suspend domestic social security before returning to China, their settlement in Shanghai will not be affected. After returning to Shanghai to find a work unit, international students can apply for settlement after paying social security for 6 months and paying taxes according to the settlement standard.

2. Social security will be suspended after returning to China (be sure to avoid it! )

There is a provision in the rules for overseas students to apply for Shanghai hukou: "The first job of overseas students after returning to China must be in Shanghai".

If the social security has been paid in different places from the beginning of studying abroad until returning to China, even if the overseas students may not really work in different places after returning to China, due to the existence of this social security relationship, it will be regarded as an actual labor relationship between the overseas students and other units.

Therefore, if international students do not meet the requirements of this regulation, there will be a high probability that they will not be able to successfully settle in Shanghai.

To sum up, if international students pay social security in Shanghai during their study abroad, it will have little impact on their settlement. According to the actual situation, let Shanghai pay social security units to issue corresponding instructions. However, if social security is paid in different places, it must be terminated before returning to China.
