Chapter V Treatment of Holders of Residence Permit in Shanghai

Article 28 (Children's Education)

Children living with the holder can participate in the independent entrance examination for full-time ordinary secondary vocational schools and the independent entrance examination for full-time higher vocational schools in accordance with the relevant provisions of this Municipality.

The holder who has reached the standard score may, in accordance with the relevant provisions of this Municipality, participate in the entrance examination for ordinary high schools and colleges and universities in this Municipality.

Article 29 (Social Insurance)

If the holder participates in social insurance in this Municipality in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State and this Municipality, he shall enjoy relevant treatment.

If the score reaches standard score, the holder's spouse and children living together can participate in social insurance in this Municipality in accordance with the relevant provisions of this Municipality and enjoy relevant treatment.
