What conditions do non-Beijingers need to buy a house in Beijing?

1. Non-Beijing families who have no housing in Beijing and have paid social security or individual taxes in Beijing for five consecutive years can buy 1 apartment.

2. If you want to buy a house in Tongzhou District, you must also meet the requirements of continuous payment of social security or individual tax in Tongzhou in the past three years.

Required materials: family member's identity certificate, marriage certificate and household registration certificate, valid temporary residence permit, application form for house purchase, original and photocopy of the letter of commitment signed by the intended purchaser.

Conditions for families of overseas Chinese from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to purchase houses: Families of overseas Chinese from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who have no houses in Beijing and work, study and live in China can purchase 1 apartment.

Required materials: family members' identity certificates, marriage certificates, valid passes for Hong Kong and Macao personnel to and from the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao residents' identity cards or passports submitted by Hong Kong and Macao personnel, People's Republic of China (PRC) valid passports and foreign long-term residence identity documents submitted by overseas Chinese, Taiwan Province residents' valid mainland passes submitted by Taiwan Province residents, family purchase application form and purchase commitment letter signed by prospective buyers.
