Early Retirement Procedures

1. Preliminary assessment and application preparation: The employee first confirms whether he/she meets the conditions for early retirement, such as the number of years of special work, total loss of labor capacity, etc. The employee then prepares the required documents and submits them to the social security department for approval. Prepare the required materials, such as special work scope approval documents, personal files, ID cards, household registers, social security payment records, copies of medical records, labor capacity appraisal certificates, and retirement application reports.

2. Labor capacity appraisal: For those who apply for early retirement due to total loss of labor capacity, they need to first go to the Comprehensive Building of the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau for labor capacity appraisal and obtain the appraisal results.

3, submit an application: the applicant carries all the necessary supporting materials, to the unit or employment department to submit a written application for early retirement. After reviewing the application, the unit will unify or assist in submitting the application to the local social insurance agency.

4. Approval by the social security department: Upon receipt of the declaration, the social security department will review the materials provided and, if necessary, may also conduct field investigations or arrange for medical examinations. After passing the audit, fill in the "Approval Form for Early Retirement of Enterprise Employees in Special Work Types" or the corresponding form, and make a public announcement.

5. Going through the formalities: After the approval of early retirement, the social security department will account for the retirement benefits and inform the applicant to come for the subsequent formalities. The applicant will go to the social security office to confirm the eligibility for pension benefits and apply for a pension card and other related formalities as required.

6. Receiving pension: After all the formalities are completed, the applicant can start to receive pension from the next month according to the regulations.
