Two years of social security can get unemployment benefits for several months.

Legal basis: Article 7 of the Labor Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). Unemployed persons who meet the statutory requirements enjoy the following unemployment insurance benefits: (1) Receive unemployment insurance benefits on a monthly basis. Unemployment insurance standard is 80% of the city's monthly minimum wage; (two) during the period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits, participate in medical insurance in accordance with the provisions of the medical insurance system of this Municipality and enjoy medical insurance benefits.
