Do you need to transfer the social security of the relocated households?

have no use for

1. Do I need to change my social security card after the account is moved?

Household registration transfer does not affect medical insurance and social security. The payment and collection of social security are calculated by the amount paid, which has nothing to do with the nature of the account, so it doesn't matter how you move your account. The most important thing in social security is the ID number. The contact address and telephone number on the social security account should be accurate. The Social Security Bureau usually sends a letter because of the card change or any problem change.

Before reaching the statutory retirement age (not receiving pension benefits or not retiring), the insured person only needs to transfer the original social insurance relationship and its funds according to the regulations, and after receiving and handling the transfer procedures, he can continue to participate in the insurance in the new household registration.

If the household registration has reached or exceeded the statutory retirement age at the time of migration, there are two situations to be noted:

When the household registration is transferred, the retirement formalities have been completed in the original household registration place, and the local old-age insurance benefits and employee medical insurance benefits are enjoyed, so the household registration transfer will not affect social security.

When the registered permanent residence is moved, it has gone through the retirement formalities in the original registered permanent residence and enjoyed the local pension insurance benefits and non-employee medical insurance benefits (such as residents' medical care). Therefore, the registered permanent residence transfer will not affect the pension benefits, but it may affect the residents' medical insurance (because residents' medical care and employees' pension belong to different types of social insurance, some areas may no longer participate in the medical care in the moving place on the grounds that the parties enjoy the employees' pension in other places).

According to the payment of the insured, the original domicile or the new domicile can be determined as the domicile where I receive the old-age insurance benefits (generally, it is the domicile where the accumulated payment has reached 10 years or above or the social security relationship has been established before reaching the statutory retirement age), which has no influence.

It is suggested that the parties concerned continue to pay fees at their original domicile, and when they can determine that a certain place can be used as a place to receive old-age insurance benefits (or when they have received old-age insurance benefits), they will move into the household registration if necessary in combination with the above-mentioned medical insurance policy. So as not to affect the social insurance benefits of the parties and cause unnecessary trouble.

2. How long does the household registration migration process take?

The general process of account migration is as follows:

Step 1: Apply to the local police station.

Step 2: The local police station agrees to move in.

Step 3: Apply to the police station where the current account is located.

Step 4: The police station where the household registration is located issues the household registration certificate.

Step 5: Take the household registration certificate and relevant supporting materials (your reasons) to the household administration department of the municipal public security bureau where you moved in.

Step 6: The household administration department issues the migration certificate.

Step 7: Return to the police station where the household registration is located with the emigration certificate, and issue the emigration certificate.

Step 8: Go to the local police station with the migration certificate and ID card.

Although it is not clearly stipulated that the social security card should be replaced when the household registration is transferred, the insured will generally change the social security card when handling the transfer formalities in order to pay the fees and other reasons. It will not affect whether the social security payment has reached the fixed number of years.
