3. If the cardholder can't report the loss in time for some reason, he can call 12333 social security service telephone or related bank telephone to report the loss orally, and complete the formal reporting procedures within 5 days after the temporary loss reporting, otherwise the temporary loss reporting will automatically become invalid.

Legal basis: Article 58 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law. The employing unit shall handle social insurance registration for employees within 30 days from the date of employment. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.
