Departmental functions

(a) the implementation of national and provincial human resources and social security development planning and related laws, regulations, rules and policies, in conjunction with the relevant departments to develop the city's human resources and social security development planning and policies, formulate relevant policies and organize the implementation, supervision and inspection.

Organize the formulation and implementation of urban and rural social insurance and its supplementary insurance policies and standards, co-ordinate the formulation and implementation of basic old-age insurance policies for government agencies and institutions, formulate and organize the implementation of social insurance and its supplementary insurance fund management and supervision system in conjunction with relevant departments, prepare the draft budget and final accounts of the city's social insurance fund, and participate in the formulation of the city's social insurance fund maintenance and appreciation operation policies and implementation measures.
