Can the new rural insurance policy be transferred across counties?

The agricultural insurance that the registered permanent residence moves out can be transferred.

If the insured person is transferred across counties (cities, districts and banners) during the payment period, the social security institution at the county level at the transfer place will transfer the new agricultural insurance relationship and personal account storage amount to the new insured place at one time, and the new insured place will handle the insurance payment procedures for it. If the insured person is transferred to the pilot area where the new agricultural insurance has not been carried out, the new agricultural insurance relationship will not be transferred temporarily, the personal account will be sealed, and the storage amount will continue to bear interest according to the relevant provisions.

The insured shall apply to the village (neighborhood) committee of the transfer place with the household registration transfer certificate, the original resident ID card and other related materials, and fill in the "Participation Form" and "Application Form for the Transfer of New Rural Social Endowment Insurance Relationship"). The village coordinator is responsible for checking whether the information provided is complete and reporting the Participation Form, Transfer Form and related materials to the township office within the prescribed time limit. After being transferred to the township office for verification, the insured and transferred information should be entered into the agricultural newspaper information system in a timely manner, and the "Insured Form" and "Transferred Form" and related materials should be reported to the county-level social security institutions within the prescribed time limit. The transfer-in county-level social security institution shall send the transfer-in letter of new rural social endowment insurance to the transfer-out county-level social security institution within the specified time.

After receiving the acceptance letter, the social security agency at the county level shall verify the relevant information of the person applying for transfer. In line with the transfer conditions, the personal account of the insured shall be transferred to the bank account designated by the county-level social security institution in the next month, and the insured information of the person applying for transfer shall be cancelled.

After confirming that all the transferred personal accounts have been received, the county-level social security agency shall promptly inform the transferred personnel, handle the paid-in amount, and record the personal accounts for the transferred personnel.

If the insured reaches the age of receiving treatment and needs to move across counties (cities, districts and banners), the pension insurance relationship will not be transferred.
