Can Shenzhen social security be used in other places?

Legal analysis: the expenses incurred by designated medical institutions outside the city that can be used in other places can be directly settled by Shenzhen Medical Insurance after filing or referral procedures. Those who do not meet the conditions for direct settlement can apply for reimbursement in Shenzhen with relevant materials.

Legal basis: Article 28 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) conforms to the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency and rescue medical expenses, and shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund according to state regulations.
