Social security sub-unit payment part and individual payment part

Legal analysis: social security is divided into units and individuals. Specific social security contributions are as follows:

1, endowment insurance, units and individuals pay 20% and 8% respectively;

2, medical insurance, units and individuals pay 12%, 2% respectively;

3. Unemployment insurance, units and individuals pay 2% and 0% respectively;

4, maternity insurance units to pay 0.60%, individuals do not pay;

5, work-related injury insurance units pay 2%, individuals do not pay.

The amount of social security payment in each region is different, and the base is based on the total wages. Because the payment base and compensation base of the five major social insurance types, such as pension, work injury, medical care, maternity and unemployment, are all linked to the average salary of employees on the job last year, the increase of the average salary level will bring about the adjustment of various social insurance types.

Legal basis: Article 23 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), employees shall participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and both employers and employees shall pay the basic medical insurance premium according to the provisions of the state.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic medical insurance for employees and other flexible employees can participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and individuals pay the basic medical insurance premium in accordance with state regulations.
