Non-Shenzhen household members applying for residence permits should also meet the following conditions:

(a) have a legal and stable residence in the SAR. If a non-Shenzhen household member has resided for twelve consecutive months from the date of residence registration to the date of application for a residence permit, he or she is deemed to have a lawful and stable residence;

(2) he or she has a lawful and stable occupation in the SAR. Non-Shenzhen residents who have participated in social insurance in the SAR for twelve consecutive months from the date of residence registration to the date of application for a residence permit or for a total of eighteen months in the two years prior to the date of application for a residence permit shall be deemed to have a lawful and stable occupation.

In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations, the introduced talents who have applied for residence registration in the city and meet one of the following conditions can directly apply for a residence permit:

(a) high-level professionals recognized by the municipal human resources and social security department of the qualification of talents, overseas high-level talents, talents with high professional skills and the city's industrial development needs;

(b) Obtained the qualification certificate of Shenzhen overseas students returning to study abroad;

(c) with full-time college education and above.
