I. Acceptance

(1) Scope of visiting relatives:

Visiting relatives who are settled, studying or employed in Hong Kong or Macao. The term "relatives" refers to: spouse, parents or parents of the spouse, children, siblings. The applicant's spouse and children can accompany the application.

(2) Types of endorsement:

1. For visiting spouse, parents (including parents of spouse) and children, a 3-month single or multiple endorsement may be issued; for a 3-month single endorsement, the stay in Hong Kong or Macao shall not be more than 14 days; for a 3-month multiple endorsement, the stay in Hong Kong or Macao shall not be more than 90 days from the date of first entry.

2. To visit siblings, a 3-month single endorsement is issued for a stay of not more than 14 days in Hong Kong or Macau.

3. Mainland relatives of the staff of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong or Macao, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong or Macao, and the cadres of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) units stationed in Hong Kong or Macao applying for visiting relatives in Hong Kong and Macao shall be issued with a three-month multiple-visit endorsement for a period of up to 90 days from the date of their first entry into the territory of Hong Kong or Macao.

8. (1) Scope of acceptance:

1. Staff members of enterprises and their branches registered by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce with independent legal personality;

2. Staff members of units registered with the State Taxation Department for tax purposes with production and operation, as well as representative offices of overseas enterprises based in the Mainland.

3. Individual business operators.

(2) Types of endorsement:

1. Personnel of units that have been registered for the record can be issued with a 3-month multiple-entry endorsement or a 1-year multiple-entry endorsement, with each stay in Hong Kong or Macao not exceeding 7 days.

Hong Kong and Macao Business Registration

To apply for a multiple business endorsement for more than 3 months, the applicant's enterprise (business unit) must first apply for registration with the public security authorities. The registration record is valid for one year from the date of filing, the record is valid for annual review within two months before the expiration of the validity of the annual review, the annual review passed, the validity of the automatic extension of one year, did not carry out the annual review or the annual review did not pass, the expiration date is automatically revoked.

The number of registered personnel for each enterprise (business unit) shall not exceed eight for a three-month multiple business endorsement, and if necessary, with the approval of the public security authorities, the number can be increased by one for every 100,000 increase in tax payment.

The number of registered personnel for each enterprise (business unit) for 1-year multiple business endorsement shall not exceed 3. 4. The representative office of foreign enterprises in Beijing shall submit the registration certificate of the resident representative office issued by the industry and commerce department, and the staff of the organization shall submit the Work Certificate of the Resident Representative Office of Foreign (Regional) Enterprises issued by the industry and commerce department, the Employee's Work Certificate of the Resident Representative Office of Foreign (Regional) Enterprises, or the on-the-job certificate issued by the foreign affairs service unit.

5. The original and a copy of the tax payment certificate [state-owned enterprises, high-tech enterprises (R&D institutions), and representative offices of foreign enterprises in Beijing are exempted];

6. Residents with permanent household registration in the city are required to submit the original and a copy of the social insurance vouchers issued by the social security centers of the districts and counties for social security payments made by the applicant's company (business unit); the validity period of the social insurance vouchers shall not be less than three months.

7. The original and photocopy of the household register and ID card of the person filing the application, and the original and photocopy of the Beijing Temporary Residence Permit or Beijing Residence Permit for Work of the person who has resided in Beijing temporarily for more than one year must be submitted by the person who lives in a foreign province or city.

3. 4. Applicants for short-term individual travel endorsements to Hong Kong and Macao should apply again for an expedited visa if they are residents of Beijing holding a foreign-issued Exit-Entry Permit for Traveling to Hong Kong and Macao, and they should have already applied for an endorsement for travel to Hong Kong and Macao at the Municipal Bureau of Exit-Entry.

Replacement of Exit-entry Permit to Hong Kong and Macao

The Exit-entry Permit to Hong Kong and Macao is valid for five years. When the holder applies for an endorsement, he/she can apply for the renewal of the document at the same time under the following circumstances:

(a) the validity period of the document is shorter than the validity period of the endorsement to be issued;

Replacement of Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao

Beijing residents holding Exit-Entry Permit for Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao and endorsement for staying in Hong Kong or during the return to the mainland, re-apply for Exit-Entry Permit for Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao and endorsement for staying in Hong Kong and Macao again can be in the Exit-Entry Administration of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau or the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Bureau of the Shenzhen Immigration and Visa Office for processing.

When applying for an endorsement, the following cases can be entrusted:

(1) the applicant is under 16 years old or has reached 60 years old;

(2) the person who applies for an endorsement for the same subject matter again in the same acceptance department with the same Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao (excluding business endorsement application in a different place);

(3) the applicant who travels to Hong Kong or Macao for employment through a labor operating company, and the applicant who travels to Hong Kong or Macao for employment, and the applicant who travels to Hong Kong or Macao for employment in a different place. (c) Applicants who go to Hong Kong or Macao for employment through labor-management companies and re-apply for an Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao and an endorsement during their employment in Hong Kong or Macao are appointed by the Ministry of Commerce to apply for them on their behalf.

(4) Mainland residents who are in Hong Kong or Macao with an endorsement to stay can apply on their behalf through the China Travel Service in Hong Kong or Macao.

In the above cases, the delegated person must submit a power of attorney, submit the original identity certificates of himself/herself and the delegated person, and submit photocopies.

Special Circumstances

(1) Applications for Exit-Entry Permit for Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao and endorsement for Chinese citizens who have settled abroad and are working or residing in Beijing shall be accepted by the Exit-Entry Administration of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

The applicant submits a completed "Application Form for Mainland Residents Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao" with a two-inch color photo of the recent frontal, bare-faced photo (with a light blue or white background) affixed to it, and submits a Chinese passport and proof of settlement abroad (such as a foreign language that needs to be translated by a designated company), the original and photocopies of proof of work or residency in Beijing, and the corresponding supporting documents for applications for other types of endorsements. 3. Required Documents for Application:
