It is best to keep the social security in the original unit to continue to pay (including maternity insurance), and then later after the birth of a child to the pension insurance relationship for transfer to Shenyang.

But if you give birth outside of Dalian, the supporting documents required for the reimbursement procedure are very complete;

Participants who participate in maternity health insurance and are hospitalized for prenatal checkups, childbirth, or family planning surgeries outside of the city are required to reimburse themselves to their respective social security institution's health care agency within 12 months from the date of the expenses:

1. Copy of social security card (check the original);

2, copy of ID card (check original); (if there is a proxy, the proxy must provide the original ID card and a copy);

3, copy of the participant's own Dalian bank passbook or debit card (China, Industrial, Agricultural and Construction) (check original);

4, copy of the marriage certificate (check original);

5, copy of the medical certificate of birth (check original)

6, original valid bills;

7, original family planning certificate (birth certificate);

8, original certificate of the insured unit (stating that the insured person is in employment and agreeing to give birth to a child in a different place);

9, original hospitalization (outpatient) expense itemized master list with the hospital's official seal;

10, outpatient expenses with the hospital's seal Detailed list;

11, copy of outpatient medical record or maternity handbook (check the original);

12, copy of inpatient medical record (including admission record, discharge record, long term and temporary medical order form, delivery record or operation record) stamped with the official seal of the hospital.
