How long does it take to pay social security after joining the company?

According to the provisions of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employer shall handle the social insurance registration for employees within 30 days from the date of employment. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Social security is the basic guarantee given by the state to employees, including endowment insurance, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, work injury insurance and maternity insurance.
