Responsibilities of Social Security Card Management Center

Legal analysis: The purpose of building a provincial card issuing center for social security cards is to effectively control the whole process of loading and applying keys of social security cards issued in various places through the center, so as to realize the unity, legality and security of card issuance, realize the cross-regional and cross-business use of social security cards in the province, and finally realize "one card for multiple purposes and universal use throughout the country".

Legal basis: The first paragraph of Article 1 of the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on Printing and Distributing the Main Responsibilities of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security integrates the responsibilities of the former Ministry of Personnel and the former Ministry of Labor and Social Security into Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
