What is the password of the social security card?

Social security card has two passwords, social security application password and bank financial application password.

The initial password for social security application is 123456. Cardholders can bring their ID cards to provincial designated hospitals, pharmacies, clinics (community health service stations) or provincial medical insurance bureaus to modify the initial password for social security card applications, and at the same time complete the activation of medical insurance functions.

The initial password for the banking application is 955330. Cardholders can bring their valid identity documents to CCB outlets to modify the initial password, enable the financial function of social security cards, and modify the bank account password at CCB outlets and self-service equipment at any time during use.

The initial password for social security card application in each region may be different. If the cardholder needs to know the initial password of the social security card in his area, he can consult the social security center in his area or call 12333.

How to change the password of social security card

First, outlets handle the password modification of social security cards.

Use my original ID card and social security card (both the new card and the old card belong to the same issuing bank, and the old card will be destroyed by the issuing bank, otherwise you only need to bring a new card), and you need to set two account passwords when handling. Social security card contains two accounts, so there are two corresponding passwords, namely, the consumption password of medical account and financial account. When activated, it needs to be set by the insured and consumed by password.

Second, change the social security card password by phone.

Cardholders can call the labor security service telephone number 1 12333 to modify their personal passwords. The specific operation process is as follows:

1. Call a landline 12333. After entering the main process, press "5" according to the voice prompt to enter the column of social security card replacement and loss reporting.

2. Press "1" to enter the password modification function, enter the "8" digit after the social security card number according to the voice prompt, and press # to submit.

3. Enter the original password according to the voice prompt. If your original password is 123456 1, the voice will prompt you to enter your ID number and press # to confirm. If your ID number is correct, the voice will prompt you to enter a new password and press # to confirm. Enter the new password again, and press # to submit it twice.

Third, modify the social security card password on the touch screen.

1. After opening the homepage of the local labor security information inquiry system on the touch screen, select the social security card button, enter the social security card application login page, insert the social security card, enter the social security card password through the number keys on the touch screen, and click the OK button.

2. After logging in successfully, select and click Modify Card Password. If you need to modify the social security card password, click the 1 card password modification button after logging in to enter the password modification page, and then click the confirm button after confirming the new password.
