Is social security not five insurance?

Social security is not five insurance. Social security refers to the five types of insurance: old-age insurance, medical insurance, maternity insurance, unemployment insurance and industrial injury insurance. The five insurance refers to pension insurance, medical insurance, maternity insurance, unemployment insurance, work injury insurance and housing fund. The housing fund refers to the long-term housing savings contributed by state organs and institutions, state-owned enterprises, urban collective enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, urban private enterprises and other urban enterprises and institutions, private non-enterprise units, social organizations and their employees, on a reciprocal basis.

Article 2

The State establishes a social insurance system of basic pension insurance, basic medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance and other social insurance systems, to protect the right of citizens to receive material assistance from the State and society in accordance with the law in the event of old age, illness, industrial injury, unemployment and childbirth. Article 10

Employees shall participate in basic old-age insurance, and the employer and the employee*** shall pay the basic touch-dust old-age insurance premiums together.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time workers who have not participated in basic pension insurance with their employing units, and other flexibly employed persons may participate in basic pension insurance, with the individual paying the basic laughs zen pension insurance premiums.

The methods of pension insurance for civil servants and staff managed under the civil service law shall be prescribed by the State Council.
