How to operate the medical insurance transfer

Legal analysis: The medical insurance transfer process is as follows:

1, or individuals bring relevant information to the new employment agency for transfer;

2. If the application conditions are met, the agency in the new employment place will generate the Contact Letter for the Transfer and Continuation of the Basic Medical Insurance Relationship, and send it to the social security agency where the insured was originally insured in our city by mail: the processing time is 15 working days;

3, the district (city) social security agencies receive the insured person's basic medical insurance relationship transfer letter sent by the social security agencies where the new insured person is located, check the information through the system and generate the certificate of participation, and fill in the information form for the change of medical insurance coverage of the insured person;

4, the district (city) social security agencies will "proof of participation" first, triple and "insured medical insurance coverage change information form", mailed to the new employment agencies. If there is a personal account, the balance of the personal account will be transferred and the basic medical insurance relationship of the insured in our city will be terminated: the processing time is 15 working days.

Legal basis: Article 23 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), employees shall participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and both employers and employees shall pay the basic medical insurance premium according to the provisions of the state.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic medical insurance for employees and other flexible employees can participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and individuals pay the basic medical insurance premium in accordance with state regulations.
