How to pay social security after resignation?

After resigning, you can pay social security for flexible employment, medical insurance or endowment insurance for urban and rural residents.

Flexible employment to pay social security requires local household registration (resident cards can also be applied in some areas). The insured person can bring his ID card and household registration book to the neighborhood office, community service center or local social security agency for flexible employment social security procedures, but flexible employment social security can only pay endowment insurance and medical insurance;

Self-payment of medical insurance or endowment insurance for urban and rural residents is generally based on the family and can be paid by family members. Generally need to have a local rural hukou. Every year, the village committee and other institutions will inform you of the place and time limit of payment, and you can bring relevant information to pay at the designated place at the specified time.

According to the "Regulations on the Management of Personal Accounts of Basic Medical Insurance for Urban Employees", personal accounts of basic medical insurance can only be used for basic medical care, and cash may not be withdrawn or used for other purposes. Personal account mainly pays outpatient medical expenses, and can also be used to pay medical expenses below Qifubiaozhun and the part that must be paid by individuals when the fund pays.

Do not enjoy medical insurance benefits after resigning according to regulations. Because individuals who resign do not enjoy unemployment benefits, they cannot enjoy medical insurance benefits without unemployment benefits. If the new company accepts your resignation, you can continue to pay social security by the new company or find a company to continue to pay social security, but it is not cost-effective. You need to pay the part paid by the company yourself, which increases your personal burden.
