How long will it take to pay the social security again after it is broken?

How long can I use my social security card after it is cut off? According to the time of breaking off, there are two situations:

1. Under normal circumstances, you can enjoy normal medical insurance benefits within three months after breaking off diplomatic relations and from the second month after going through normal payment procedures;

2 continuous interruption of payment for 3 months, as an interruption of insurance. If you want to enjoy medical insurance benefits, you need to attach the condition of continuous payment for 6 months after going through the renewal procedures.

After the payment of social security is stopped, the social security card will be re-applied. If an individual continues to pay medical insurance, it will take three months to reuse; If the unit continues to pay medical insurance, it can be used next month; If the unemployment insurance is renewed, it can only be used after reaching the conditions of use or a certain number of years. When flexible employees stop paying medical insurance and continue to pay within three months, the proportion of individual self-sufficiency will increase by10% in this settlement year; However, if the payment is renewed for more than three months, the proportion of individual self-sufficiency will increase by 15% in this settlement year.

Legal basis: Article 58 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law.

The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.

The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
