How to inquire about parents' social security card

The information related to the child's social security card can be inquired in the following three ways: bring your ID card to the business hall of the social insurance agency in each district; log on to your city's labor security network or social insurance business website for inquiries; and call the labor security integrated service phone 12333 for telephone inquiries.

The People's Republic of China (PRC) Law on Social Insurance, Article 2, the State establishes a social insurance system of basic old-age insurance, basic medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance and other social insurance systems to safeguard the right of citizens to obtain material assistance from the State and society in accordance with the law in the event of old age, sickness, industrial injury, unemployment, childbirth, etc. The Law also provides for the right of citizens to obtain material assistance from the State and society in accordance with the law. Article 3 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China adheres to the policy of broad coverage, basic coverage, multi-level and sustainability of the social insurance system, and the level of social insurance should be commensurate with the level of economic and social development.
