Can I pay social security in two different places at the same time?

Generally it is not possible to pay social security in two places at the same time. In the case of multiple pension insurance relationships within different basic pension insurance systems, for participants participating in both urban workers' pension insurance and urban and rural residents' pension insurance in the same year, the duplicate contribution period will only be counted as the number of years of contribution for urban workers' pension insurance and the corresponding individual contribution and collective subsidy for urban and rural residents' pension insurance will be returned to them.
