How long will it take to reissue the social security card

It takes fifteen working days to reissue the social security card, as follows:

1, social security card, namely social security card, is an integrated circuit card which is uniformly planned by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and issued to the society by local labor and social security departments and used in various business fields of labor and social security. Issue social security cards to urban workers, unemployed people and retirees, and issue social security cards to employers;

2. When the social security card is officially reported lost, it shall go through the formalities of card replacement, fill in the application form on the spot, hand it over to the staff of social security card service outlets, and then issue a card certificate as a temporary medical certificate for the card replacement period. /kloc-after 0/5 working days, the replacement card holder will take his/her ID card and "Certificate of Getting a Card" to the social security card service outlets to get a new card.

Legal basis: Article 58 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law.

The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.

The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.

Article 59

The people's governments at or above the county level shall strengthen the collection of social insurance premiums.

Social insurance premiums shall be uniformly collected, and the implementation steps and specific measures shall be stipulated by the State Council.
