Jinhui Town is located in the north-central part of Fengxian District, bordering Minhang District and Nanhui District in the north, Fengcheng Town in Fengxian District in the east, Qingcun Town in the south, Jinhui Port in the west, Fengxian Modern Agriculture Park and Nanqiao Town in the west. It is 27km away from the center of Shanghai in the north, 32km away from Pudong International Airport in the east and 27km away from the international shipping Yangshan Deepwater Port in the southeast. In 2005, the town's administrative area was 72.83 square kilometers, with a total population of 46,457, total number of households18,462, and foreign population of 20,045, governing 35 administrative villages and 3 neighborhood committees.
