202 1 Whether the hospitalization blood transfusion fee is reimbursed depends on the local medical insurance regulations.

Generally, blood transfusion in hospitals is not reimbursed, because there are certain differences in medical insurance policies in different places. At present, blood expenses and blood mutual aid funds in general hospitals are not reimbursed, and blood transfusion materials are reimbursed according to regulations after individuals bear 10%. At this point, the author suggests that the insured can purchase commercial supplementary medical insurance and social security to reduce their economic losses.

Article 28 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) conforms to the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities and emergency and rescue medical expenses standards, and shall be paid from the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.
