How to merge Jingmen social security card

1. Social security cards cannot be merged. Every citizen has only one ID number, corresponding to a social security card;

2. However, social insurance for urban and rural residents and social security for employees can be merged under the premise of meeting the provisions of the document (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Fa 14). According to Article 5 of this document:

(1) If the insured person is transferred from the endowment insurance for urban and rural residents to the endowment insurance for urban employees, all the savings in the personal accounts for urban and rural residents' endowment insurance will be merged into the personal accounts for urban employees' endowment insurance;

(2) The payment period of endowment insurance for urban and rural residents is not calculated or converted into the payment period of endowment insurance for urban employees.

3. According to the provisions of Article 9 of this document, the insured shall go through the following procedures when handling the procedures for connecting the urban and rural endowment insurance system:

(a) by the insured himself to the social insurance agencies put forward a written application for the convergence of the old-age insurance system.

(II) The social insurance agency in the place where the benefits are received accepts and examines the written application of the insured person, and sends a contact letter to the social insurance agency in the place where the insured person's old-age insurance for urban workers and old-age insurance for urban and rural residents is located within 15 working days, and provides relevant information; Do not meet the requirements of these measures, explain the reasons to the applicant.

(III) The social insurance agency where the urban workers' endowment insurance and urban and rural residents' endowment insurance are located shall complete the procedures of information transmission and fund transfer in the system connection within 15 working days after receiving the contact letter.

(4) The social insurance agency in the place where the benefits are received shall complete the relevant procedures within 15 working days after receiving the funds transferred by the social insurance agency in the place where the insured person's old-age insurance for urban workers and old-age insurance for urban and rural residents are located, and notify the applicant of the situation in time.
