What's the difference between a labor security card and a social security card?

After June 2008, Shenzhen was replaced by a social security card, which is an IC card. Wear-resistant, the information in the card is not easy to lose, avoiding the trouble that the "labor security card" sometimes needs magnetization. Moreover, this card is also formulated in accordance with national standards, which has made preliminary preparations for the overall planning of social insurance in the country in the future. At present, Shenzhen's social insurance work has been at the forefront of the country.

Now Shenzhen plans to replace all the "labor security cards" with "social security cards" within three years. Therefore, the labor security card can still be used at present, and it may not be used in the future.
