Can social security be made up after a year's interruption?

Social security payment can be made up for one year. Social security renewal does not require any materials. If the parties want to make up, they just need to bring their ID cards to the Social Security Bureau to continue to pay social security. Communicate with the social security department and renew the fee after going through the relevant formalities. The employing unit shall declare itself and pay social insurance premiums in full and on time, and shall not postpone or reduce the payment except for legal reasons such as force majeure. The social insurance premiums that employees should pay shall be withheld and remitted by the employer, and the employer shall inform me of the details of paying social insurance premiums on a monthly basis.

Social insurance funds include basic endowment insurance fund, basic medical insurance fund, industrial injury insurance fund, unemployment insurance fund and maternity insurance fund. Social insurance funds implement a unified accounting system throughout the country.

The basic old-age insurance fund will gradually implement national overall planning, and other social insurance funds will gradually implement provincial overall planning. The specific time and steps shall be stipulated by the State Council.
