If the unit does not buy it, how can individuals buy social security?

Units do not buy social security, and individuals sell insurance as follows:

1. Individuals can bring their identity certificates and other materials and purchase them from social security agencies as flexible employees;

2. If there is a labor relationship between the individual and the unit, the individual can report to the social security administrative department, and the social security administrative department will order the company to purchase in time within a time limit.

It is illegal for a company not to pay social security to its employees, and employees can solve it in the following ways:

1. If the employer does not pay social security, and the individual is unwilling to give up his job or report offending the employer, he can also apply for social security as a flexible employment. When individuals apply for social security, they only apply for endowment insurance and medical insurance, and the payment base is based on the average wage of the local society. The proportion of pension insurance payment is 20%, and the proportion of medical insurance payment is 8%. Pay 15 years, and you can retire when you reach the legal retirement age.

2. According to the relevant laws and regulations, the company must register for social insurance within 30 days after its establishment, and the employer must pay social insurance for its employees within 30 days after their employment. Although employees pay their own social security, the responsibilities and obligations of enterprises still exist, and employees can still retain the right to sue enterprises for violating the law;

3. The employer does not pay social security for employees. After the employees pay, they can still ask the employer to pay the social security that should be paid but not paid for themselves as a way to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests. Although the road to safeguarding rights is arduous and long, employees' rights and interests will be protected as long as they can effectively collect relevant evidence materials, such as labor contracts, work cards, punching records, salaries, colleagues' testimonies, personal social security receipts, vouchers, etc. Ways of safeguarding rights include consulting with the employer, reporting to the labor inspection department, bringing labor arbitration, bringing a lawsuit to the court, etc., all of which are legal and effective means of safeguarding rights.

Employees shall participate in the basic old-age insurance, and the employer and employees shall jointly pay the basic old-age insurance premium.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employer and other flexible employees can participate in the basic old-age insurance, and individuals pay the basic old-age insurance premium.

Article 23

Employees should participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and employers and employees should pay the basic medical insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations.

Employees should participate in unemployment insurance, and employers and employees should pay unemployment insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations.
