2. Anyone who meets the requirements can apply for personal medical insurance, but the medical insurance application process of different personnel is different, and some corresponding documents and materials need to be provided;

3. Individuals should have complete personnel files, and individuals can go to the local social security center with their own files;

4. If the unit where the individual worked before has provided personal medical insurance, you only need to issue a certificate to prove that the labor relationship has been terminated, and then you can go to the social security center with the relevant insurance materials.

To sum up, if you forget to pay the fee after the expiration, you will stop enjoying the medical insurance benefits paid by the medical insurance pooling fund from 1 day of the month following the interruption of payment, but the balance of your personal account can continue to be used. The medical insurance premium during the interruption of payment can be paid on the basis of paying the basic old-age insurance premium. Insured individuals continue to interrupt payment for more than six months, and after six months of continuous payment since the month of resumption of payment, the medical expenses incurred shall be reimbursed according to the regulations, and the medical insurance premium during the interruption of payment may not be paid back.
