Handling place

Insured units or individuals can go directly to Chengdu Social Security Bureau for insurance and payment procedures. The address of Social Security Bureau is located at No.4, North Section 1, Second Ring Road, Yingmenkou Overpass, Chengdu.

Basic procedure

Here, I mainly take individual insurance as an example to illustrate the procedures that need to be handled.

Insured persons are required to bring their ID card and current passbook of any one of ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China and China Construction Bank to Zone B on the second floor of Chengdu Social Security Bureau to sign a personal basic medical insurance bank withholding agreement.

If it is the first time to participate in insurance, you should also bring your household registration book; If you have been insured before, you need to bring a social security card.

Payment standard

The payment is divided into two parts, the employer pays 7.5% of the total salary and the individual employee pays 2% of the salary.

Freelancers pay 9.5% of the average monthly salary of employees in this city in the previous year. Retirees do not pay their own fees. (Up to now, the average wage of employees in Chengdu last year was 1 1584 yuan, 965 yuan per month. So it can be calculated that freelancers need to pay 9 1.7 yuan every month.
