You have to buy social security in Shantou first, and you must have a social security account in Shantou before you can transfer in Guangzhou.

Specific procedures:

1. Buy social security in Shantou.

2. Go to Guangzhou Social Security Bureau to open a pension transfer certificate. (Transfer to social security, only the pension part)

Before transferring to social security, check whether you have unemployment insurance in Guangzhou. Those who have unemployment insurance for more than one year can receive unemployment benefits for one month a year. This money was taken for nothing. Take it and type the pension transfer voucher.

Take the voucher back to Shantou Social Security Bureau, and they can transfer your pension in Guangzhou to Shantou social security account.
