1. How much do social security companies and individuals pay?

1. How much should social security companies and individuals pay respectively? The definitions are as follows:

(1) Old-age insurance, which is jointly paid by enterprises and employees, with enterprises paying 20% and individuals paying 8%;

(2) Medical insurance is paid jointly by enterprises and employees, with enterprises paying 7.5% and individuals paying 2%;

(3) Unemployment insurance is paid jointly by enterprises and employees, with enterprises paying 2% and individuals paying1%;

(4) Industrial injury insurance shall be paid by the enterprise itself, and the enterprise shall pay1%;

(5) Maternity insurance is paid by the enterprise itself, and the enterprise pays 0.8%.

The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.
