The living allowance for disabled people with difficulties is for those who have household registration in Guangzhou and meet one of the following conditions:

1. The disabled, disabled soldiers and the disabled people's police who hold the People's Republic of China (PRC) Disabled Persons' Card, People's Republic of China (PRC) Disabled Persons' disabled soldiers Card and People's Republic of China (PRC) Disabled People's Police Card within the validity period in low-income families in Guangzhou;

2. Holding the "People's Republic of China (PRC) Disabled Persons' Card" within the validity period, the disability rating is rated as one or two severe disabled persons and non-severe intellectual and mental disabled persons, and the average monthly income of the person before 12 is lower than the current living allowance standard for disabled persons with difficulties.

How long does it take from applying to receiving the subsidy? When will the subsidy be paid?

Guangzhou household registration application will be completed within 13 working days (preliminary examination within 5 working days-review within 3 working days-review within 5 working days). Disabled persons who have passed the examination and approval shall receive subsidies from the month when they submit their applications. Two subsidies for the disabled in Guangzhou are paid on a monthly basis before the 25th of each month; New applications will be issued the following month after approval.
