Legal basis: Article 4 of the Opinions on Solving the Social Insurance Problem of Some Retired Soldiers states that after a person who meets the scope of policy protection holds his/her valid identity certificate and relevant retirement certificate, he/she shall apply to the department in charge of retired military affairs in the resettlement place, and the department in charge of retired military affairs in the resettlement place shall be responsible for providing relevant information and certification materials to the social insurance, medical insurance and relevant collection agencies in the resettlement place (or the insured place) respectively. The relevant departments are divided into different situations. After reviewing and confirming the retirement information, insurance information and the difficulties of units and individuals, they will be listed as those who meet the policy guarantee conditions for insurance and payment procedures.
