Guangzhou's five-year social security purchase policy
On March 17, Guangzhou also upgraded the property market purchase restriction policy after Beijing introduced the new property market regulation policy. According to the Notice of the General Office of Guangzhou Municipal People's Government on Further Improving the Policy of Stable and Healthy Development of Guangzhou's Real Estate Market (hereinafter referred to as the Notice), non-local registered families can provide proof that they have paid personal income tax or social insurance in this city for five consecutive years before the date of purchase, and this city is limited to 1 house, and non-local registered families are not allowed to purchase houses by paying back the personal income tax payment certificate or social insurance payment certificate. In other words, foreigners who buy a house in Guangzhou need to pay taxes continuously for 5 years or pay social security for 5 years, and the social security transferred from other places is not counted as the accumulated social security years paid locally. Therefore, you are not qualified to buy a house in Guangzhou.
