How do students apply for social security cards?

Processing flow of student social security card:

1, online processing

Students or guardians prepare the applicant's valid ID and guardianship certificate, log in to the online banking app, and apply for the social security card through the electronic social security card service on the home page of the bank-acting as an agent for minor children, and then apply online according to the prompts on the page.

2. Off-line processing

The guardian can go to the nearest social security cooperative bank outlet with the guardianship certificate and the valid identity certificate of the child.

The insured shall provide the following materials:

1. Original and photocopy of the insured's ID card (below 16, household registration book is provided without ID card);

2. Receipt of digital photos of the insured (no need for social security cards before);

3. The original and photocopy of the guardian's ID card;

4. Original and photocopy of guardianship certificate (birth certificate of the insured or guardianship certificate or household registration book issued by the Civil Affairs Bureau where the insured's household registration is located).

What function does the student social security card have?

2. Medical card

3. Identity function

Because the social security card contains all kinds of basic information of the insured, it can also be used as an ID card. However, the social security card can't replace the ID card for a long time, so remember to reissue it in time if you lose your ID card.

Article 58 An employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.

The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.

Article 59 People's governments at or above the county level shall strengthen the collection of social insurance premiums.

Social insurance premiums shall be uniformly collected, and the implementation steps and specific measures shall be stipulated by the State Council.
