When will the account balance be transferred after the medical insurance transfer?

The balance of the medical insurance transfer account is generally received within 45 working days. After the transfer is successful, the balance in the original medical insurance account will arrive within 45 working days. After the insured establishes the basic old-age insurance relationship in the new place of employment and pays the fee, the unit or the insured puts forward a written application for the transfer and continuation of the basic old-age insurance relationship to the social security agency in the new place of insurance.

The state establishes social insurance systems such as basic old-age insurance, basic medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance and maternity insurance, so as to guarantee citizens' right to receive material assistance from the state and society in accordance with the law when they are old, sick, injured, unemployed and have children.

Can I withdraw the balance of my medical insurance account?

1. The balance of medical insurance accounts in most areas cannot be withdrawn in advance. If the insured person suffers from medical expenses due to hospitalization, he can go to social insurance agencies, medical institutions and pharmaceutical business units for reimbursement according to law, but the balance in the account can not be taken out generally;

2. The account shall not be withdrawn in advance, the bookkeeping interest rate shall not be lower than the bank time deposit interest rate, and the interest tax shall be exempted. In case of death, the account balance can be inherited;

3, in line with the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment projects, medical service facilities standards and emergency, rescue medical expenses, in accordance with state regulations, paid from the basic medical insurance fund;

4, the medical expenses of the insured shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund, by the social insurance agencies and medical institutions, pharmaceutical business units direct settlement. The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
