The insured person shall go through the retirement formalities at the Social Security Bureau one month before reaching the statutory retirement age (the month when the extended insured person has paid the full payment period).

When the insured retires, the following information shall be submitted:

(1) Fill in the Application Form for Retired Persons (sealed by the unit or neighborhood committee in duplicate).

(2) My one-inch color photo.

(3) Copy of ID card

If the following conditions are met, relevant materials shall be submitted:

(1) Retired cadres shall provide the original and photocopy of the Notice of Retirement of Cadres or the Approval Form for Retirement of Cadres according to their management authority;

(3) The personal files of the insured shall be attached to the early retirement of special types of work;

(4) In case of early retirement due to illness, in addition to providing relevant medical records in the past, it is also necessary to attach the diagnosis certificate and inspection report of related diseases in hospitals at or above the county level in the last three months according to relevant regulations; Schizophrenia patients must attach the diagnosis certificate and inspection report of schizophrenia specialized hospital at or above the county level. At the same time, fill in the "Application Form for Labor Ability Appraisal of Workers with Work-related Injury in this Municipality" (in triplicate), which will be appraised by the Labor Ability Appraisal Committee.

The social security department shall pay the basic pension to the insured who meet the retirement conditions from the month following the approval of retirement benefits.

Note: When the insured retires, the unit has closed down or does not exist, and the seal of the unit or the seal of the neighborhood committee is not required.
